An old kitchen table in morning light: a glass of tea, an airmail envelope and a cassette

Words fly, writing stays.

You talk, Yazsın writes it clean, just the way you would. Turkish first, English too.

Coming very soon to iPhone and Android. The trial will be free, no card needed.

In English“Ayşegül dear, pick up some bread on your way tonight. I'll be there at 4.”

Just as easy on Android

The keyboard is just what you're used to: numbers on top, letters where they belong. The one difference is the Konuşun (Speak) button at the top.

  • Undo and redo always sit at the top.
  • Emojis are right there on the keyboard.
  • A light or dark look, in a few colors.
  • English words mixed into your Turkish come out right.

In English“Sweetheart, call me at 8 tonight. And send me that YouTube video.”

Just talk. Yazsın tidies up.

Iıı, eee, yok dur, şey. All the ums and errs get cleaned out. It adds the punctuation and capitals itself, and leaves your way of talking alone.

Say “gelicem” and it stays “gelicem”, not the textbook form. Yazsın writes the way you talk.

  1. What you saidııı ayşe gül canım akşam gelirken ekmek al bir de saat üçte yok dörtte gelicem

What Yazsın wroteAyşegül canım, akşam gelirken ekmek al. Saat 4'te gelicem.14:32“Ayşegül dear, pick up some bread on your way tonight. I'll be there at 4.”

  2. What you saidmertcan oğlum yarın şey doktora gidiyoruz ya saat onda hani unutma ilaçlarını da al

What Yazsın wroteMertcan oğlum, yarın saat 10'da doktora gidiyoruz. Unutma, ilaçlarını da al.09:15“Mertcan, son, we're seeing the doctor tomorrow at 10. Don't forget to bring your pills.”

“My phone already has a microphone.”

Yazsın doesn't just write down what you say. It tidies it up.

  • With Yazsın Pro, your words appear on screen while you talk.
  • Ums, errs and a stray “şey” are dropped.
  • Correct yourself and only the final version is written.
  • Things you list come out as a list, one per line.
  • It adds the punctuation, the capitals and the Turkish letters itself.
Two examples, in Turkish. First, you say “oğlum markete gidince şunları al ekmek süt iki kilo domates bir de deterjan” and Yazsın writes “Oğlum, markete gidince şunları al: Ekmek, Süt, 2 kilo domates, Deterjan”, each item on its own line. In English: Son, when you go to the shop, get: bread, milk, 2 kilos of tomatoes, detergent. Second, you say “yarın sabah ay yok öğlen buluşalım tamam mı canım” and Yazsın writes “Yarın öğlen buluşalım, tamam mı canım?” In English: Let's meet tomorrow at noon, OK dear?

What you saidııı şey kızım şeyde akşam şey yemeğe gelin ııı tatlıyı biz getiririz

What Yazsın wroteKızım akşam yemeğe gelin, tatlıyı biz getiririz.19:05“Come for dinner tonight, sweetheart. We'll bring dessert.”

Türkiye has always written out loud

When writing was hard, people always found a way to say it instead. Four moments.

  1. An old pale green typewriter with a blank sheet in it
    1960s

    The letter writer

The arzuhalci sat outside the post office and the courthouse with his typewriter. You told him your trouble, he put it in proper words. Petitions, letters, appeals. Even people who couldn't read or write got their words onto paper.

  2. An audio cassette and its open case
    1978

    Cassette letters from Germany

Families working abroad filled cassettes instead of writing letters. They talked through both sides, put the tape in an envelope and posted it. Back home, everyone gathered round to listen together.

  3. 2013

    Voice messages

Phones went into pockets, and typing was still hard. Voice messages were easy. But the words still flew away: you can't search them, can't find them, can't read them again.

  4. Yazsın
    2026

    Yazsın

You talk again. This time the writing stays. In your own words, with every comma in place. On WhatsApp and everywhere.

How it works

  1. The setup screen, in Turkish: Bekir explains on video. Merhaba, ben Bekir. Telefonda yazmayı birlikte kolaylaştıralım. (Hi, I'm Bekir. Let's make typing on your phone easier, together.)

    Set up Yazsın

Download it and turn on the keyboard once. Bekir shows you each step on video, in Turkish.

  2. Yazsın listening: sound bars where the keys were and the word Dinliyorum (Listening), with the Vazgeç (Cancel) and Bitir (Done) buttons above.

    Tap and talk

Tap Konuşun (Speak) at the top of the keyboard. Talk the way you always do. When you're done, tap Bitir (Done).

  3. The message is written and ready to send: Geliyoruz canım, tatlıyı biz getiririz. (We're coming, dear, we'll bring dessert.) Below it, the keyboard and the Konuşun button.

    Check and send

Your message is written with every comma in place. Take a look, then send.

Fix it once. Yazsın remembers.

Correct a name once, say a grandchild's, and Yazsın writes it right in every message after. The better it knows you, the better it writes.

What it learns

  • The names of the people you love
  • The words you use most
  • How you write: casual on WhatsApp, formal in email
A correction, in Turkish: the misspelled name Gülsün is tapped and Gülsüm is picked instead. Öğrendim, sonraki mesajlarda Gülsüm yazacağım. (Got it, I'll write Gülsüm from now on.)

Spare them the one-finger typing. Send them the link and let Bekir walk them through setup on video, step by step, in Turkish.

  1. Send your mom the link on WhatsApp.
  2. Open it on her phone and let Bekir explain.
  3. Hand her the phone. Bekir gives her a quick tour too, and her first message comes to you.

You'll be able to pay for it yourself.

The WhatsApp message goes in Turkish, for them. The link opens the Turkish page.

The Yazsın home screen, in Turkish: Yazsın is ready. Free trial day 1, setup done, your first message.

Peace of mind

  • Made by a Turkish founder

Bekir makes Yazsın. For Turkish, and for the people who speak it.

  • Where your voice goes

To be turned into text, it travels over a secure connection to servers outside Türkiye. It is not processed on your phone.

You choose what is kept. Delete all of it with one button, any time.

  • Privacy Mode

Turn on Gizlilik Modu and nothing you said or wrote is kept once the text arrives.

Common questions

When is Yazsın coming out?

Very soon, on iPhone and Android phones. A computer version (Mac) comes after that. You'll use one account on all of them.

Is it hard to set up?

No, it takes a few minutes. Bekir shows every step on video, in Turkish. You can also set it up for your parents yourself.

Which apps does it work in?

Anywhere you type: WhatsApp, Messages, email, Facebook, web searches.

Does it work in English?

Yes. Yazsın is made for Turkish first, and it writes English too. Mix the two in one message and the English words stay English. The full tidy-up, like making lists and dropping a word you took back, works in Turkish for now.

Will it understand my accent and the way I talk?

Correct a word it gets wrong once, and Yazsın remembers it for every message after. The better it knows you, the better it writes.

Is what I say stored?

We keep your words so Yazsın can learn how you talk. With Privacy Mode on, nothing you said or wrote is kept once the text arrives. You can delete everything any time.

Does it cost anything?

Free for 7 days, no card needed, with everything on. Then $8 a month for up to 10 hours of talking a month, plenty for most people. Yazsın Pro adds live words, where your words appear as you speak, and 15 hours a month for $15. You're never charged automatically when the trial ends. What happens if I don't subscribe after the trial?

Nothing. You're not charged. Voice typing stops, and your phone's own keyboard keeps working.

Can I pay for my parents?

Yes, you'll be able to pay for it for them.
