Privacy notice for the waitlist

Last updated: November 1, 2026. For now, this notice covers only the yazsin.com waitlist. When the app is out, we'll publish the app's own privacy notice here. This is the English version of our Turkish notice.

Who keeps your details?

Yazsın is made by Ayabak LLC (USA). For anything about your details, write to us at merhaba@yazsin.com.

What do we keep?

• The email address or phone number you give us for the waitlist
• Your name, if you give it
• Which devices you have (Android, iPhone, computer), if you tell us, so we can let you know when yours is ready
• Which link brought you here (for example, a YouTube video)
• The date you signed up and your country

We don't keep your IP address as it is. To stop too many signups coming from one place, we keep only a salted hash of it, not the address itself.

Why do we keep them?

For one reason only: to tell you when Yazsın is out. We don't use your waitlist details for anything else.

Where, and for how long?

Your details are kept on Cloudflare's servers. These servers may be outside Türkiye, or outside the country you live in. That's why we ask for your explicit consent when you sign up. We keep your details for at most 6 months after Yazsın is out, then delete them. If you'd like, we delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of Türkiye's personal data protection law (KVKK, Law No. 6698), you can ask whether we process your details, ask us to correct or delete them, and withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to merhaba@yazsin.com.

Cookies

yazsin.com uses one cookie only: to remember the language you chose (Turkish or English) for one year. There is nothing on the site that tracks you.
