How to use it

1. Pick the language you'll speak: Türkçe or English.
2. Tap the microphone. The first time, your browser asks for the microphone; allow it.
3. Talk normally. Your words appear in the box. Tap the button again when you're done.
4. Tap Copy and paste the text wherever you need it. For punctuation and layout, tap Let Yazsın tidy it first.

What does “Let Yazsın tidy it” do?

The text a browser types is often one long run: full stops, commas and capitals go missing, and “um”s and “uh”s slip in. Let Yazsın tidy it runs the text through the same cleanup as the Yazsın app: it adds the punctuation, takes out the fillers, and lays out the things you list. When you correct yourself (“Tuesday, no, Wednesday”), it writes what you meant.

It aims to keep your meaning and add nothing of its own. Still, read the result before you send it: the before and after sit side by side, and your own text stays in the box.

Which browsers does it work in?

This page uses your browser's own speech recognition. It works in Chrome and Edge on a computer, Chrome on Android, and Safari on iPhone and Mac. In Safari, dictation must be turned on in your device's settings. Firefox doesn't support it; there you can type in the box and let Yazsın tidy it.

After a long silence the browser may stop listening on its own. The page starts it again until you tap the button to stop.

Where does your voice go?

Your browser's speech recognition turns what you say into text. Some browsers send the audio to their own servers for this; that's your browser's own service. Yazsın doesn't record or receive your audio on this page.

If you tap “Let Yazsın tidy it”, only the text in the box travels over a secure connection to servers to be tidied. Yazsın doesn't keep it. To prevent abuse we count how many times it's used, never what you wrote. More: Privacy.
