Why is there an orange dot on my iPhone?

Why does Yazsın stay ready?
On iPhone, keyboards can't turn on the microphone themselves.
So the first time you talk, the Yazsın app opens once and keeps the microphone ready.
Then you go back to WhatsApp. From then on you talk without leaving it.
While an app keeps the microphone on, iPhone shows an orange dot at the top of the screen. That's how iPhone lets you know.
What happens while it's ready?
- Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere until you tap the Speak button.
- When you tap it, your voice is sent only to be turned into text.
- Once the text is back, the recording is deleted from your phone. Yazsın doesn't keep your voice on its servers.
Choose how long it stays ready
The time counts from the last time you spoke.
- Open the Yazsın app.
- Go to Settings, then Writing, then Stay ready to listen.
- Choose a time: Close right away, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour or Until I turn it off.
With Close right away, Yazsın never waits. Each time you talk, the app opens briefly, and the microphone closes when you finish.
To stop right now
- Open the Yazsın app.
- Tap Stop now.
The microphone turns off and the orange dot goes away. The next time you talk, Yazsın opens once again.
