Undo and Redo: delete the last text, bring it back
In shortUndo deletes the text Yazsın wrote last. Redo brings back the text you deleted.
Where are they?
Right after Yazsın writes, an Undo button shows at the left of the keyboard's top strip. Once you tap it, it turns into Redo.
Undo is in the keyboard's ≡ menu too.
In older versions, there are two arrows to the left of the Speak button instead: the arrow turning left is Undo, the one turning right is Redo.
Delete the last text
- After Yazsın writes, tap Undo.
- The text Yazsın wrote is deleted. What you typed yourself stays.
Tap Undo right after Yazsın writes. If you've typed more since then, it may not work.
Bring it back
- Tap Redo.
- The text you deleted comes back. On Android, in the same place. On iPhone, where the cursor is.
Redo only shows up after Undo.
If you type something or talk again, Redo goes away.
In some apps, Redo may not work. On iPhone, you'll then see Couldn't add it here.
Undo and Redo are in Android 0.2 and iPhone 0.3 and later.
On Mac
On a Mac there's no separate Undo button. In the app you're typing in, press ⌘ Z to undo. This works in most apps.
Yazsın's latest texts are in Recent texts, under the Yazsın icon in the menu bar. Point to one and choose Copy. More: Yazsın on Mac.
